So, I’ve heard from a ton of people–well, several, anyway–who are part of efforts (or know of them) within their agency to build systems for exchanging prayer requests.
Some people are using secure WordPress sites. Some people are using dedicated websites. Some people are using corporate intranets. Some people (YWAMers, I’m looking at you) are using email lists (somehow fits the chaotic situation of YWAM. I love you guys. You know I do).
I’m still learning a lot about how this can be done, and what might be a good way to improve how we at MUP do it. I don’t have any formal recommendation (or any authority to implement–just influence–grin!). But I’m getting some really good ideas.
Is anyone out there using a social network like Google Plus for Apps or Facebook or the like for your organization’s internal prayer sharing?
Has anyone recently implemented a new system, and you can share some of the thought processes that went into it?
