This is one of the big challenges of work in the regions of North Africa, West Asia, and so forth: the violence of war often keeps those who would bless away from those who need a blessing. New tensions in Sudan/South Sudan “threaten to escalate what is already a significant humanitarian crisis.” Just because South Sudan won its independence doesn’t mean all is well there, or that it should be forgotten.
