“Is Short Term Missions A Waste?” by Pete Wilson. Looks at the ways short-term missions help. I think there’s a balance here. It’s true that short-term trips do help raise vision on the part of potential intercessors, donors and long-term workers. Most long-term workers were impacted by a short-term trip when they were younger. At the same time, short-term work can do great damage. (But then, so can some bad long-term work.) I think we need to work less for “stop short-term trips” and more for “improve short-term trips.” What do you think? (And stop by and leave Pete a comment if you feel strongly on the issue.)
(Update Nov. 22: for some reason Pete’s website seems to be failing when linking to this article. Sorry. -Ed.)

Is this an article or a book? BTW the link “Is Short Term Missions a Waste?” does not work.
It was an article. It seems to be failing out right now; not sure why. His main website, http://withoutwax.tv, is working.
