You can think clearly and process information because you do not suffer from malnutrition.
If you have a question about a business process, a product or a food, you can Google it.
If you are stuck in a bad situation somewhere in the world, it’s likely your embassy can intervene.
You don’t have to spend money on endless offerings to idols.
If you get sick with an easily treatable disease, like pneumonia or diarrhea, you can easily get treatment for it.
If a disaster destroys your home, insurance will likely pay for it.
You don’t have to walk two hours to get wood to cook your meals for the next few days.
You don’t have to walk for hours to get water to drink or to cook with.
No matter how bad off things are for you, you’re probably living on more than US$2 a day.
So, let’s be thankful for the many blessings we have, and ask ourselves how God wants us to use the energy, physical strength, health, education, time, space, skills, talents, resources, and connections he has made possible for us to have, in order to bless those who have none of these.
