Enron Emails Reveal What a Web of Deceit Really Looks Like

Alexis Madrigal in The Atlantic has an interesting article examining the social network/shape of an illicit organization (e.g. Enron) with legal ones. Interestingly enough, this research seems to indicate that hub-and-spoke organizations (and hierarchies) are easier to corrupt. It makes a certain amount of sense, because they are also easier to control and direct.
