via Privatising peace in The Economist. The UN is “hobbled” and the desire of nations to make peace has waned. Small countries with small armies are not keen to engage armed groups. So a number of NGOs with roots in aid and disaster relief are now playing a bigger role in conflict resolution. There is a part in this for Christians to play.
