A lot of people in 2011 were talking long and loud about Rob Bell and Hell.
Not so many were talking about those who were excluded from Heaven.
Those who dislike Bell’s view believe the unevangelized can’t get to heaven if no one talks to them about Jesus.
But, if they aren’t in Heaven, it’s not because they reject Christ, but because Christians rejected them.
It’s not that most Christians ever make a conscious choice to exclude those who have never heard of Christ. It’s not that we have a “cool club” and we don’t want Azerbaijanis to Zhuang in it. (Right?)
But they won’t hear unless someone goes, and no one will go unless they are sent—and we aren’t sending. So we’re making a choice, just the same.
