You don’t have to be big to get something done.
Being small means less cost. Less regulations. Small groups that can laugh and play and cry together. Fewer dress codes. Less infrastructure.
Being small also means you can fly below the radar. There is no corporate website for a restrictive national government to Google.
Being small can sometimes make it more difficult to raise funds. But it also means that your supporters—the fans of the vision—are likely more interested in you, more connected with you, more likely to weather storms with you, more likely to give you advice and help.
Being small means you don’t have to own expensive buildings or assets, you don’t take on debt, and you don’t have to have a lot of paperwork.
But being small doesn’t mean you can’t make a significant difference. Plenty of small groups have made substantial changes in the world.
Be happy with small, and make it work for you!
