humbledMBA has an article up about giving advice to people. He uses some coarse language. In spite of the language there are some significant points of advice here which apply not just to entrepreneurs–they apply to missionary candidates, too. Replace “entrepreneur” with “missionary” throughout the article and see if I’m wrong. And note his final caveat. Who are the missionary teachers, authors, etc. who can do this? Suggest in the comments below.
Update: here’s another humbledMBA article that has good advice for missionary candidates pioneering new work among an unreached people group. Hint: any time you see something that says “entrepreneur” in business language, replace it with “missionary.” Any time you see “startup” replace it with “new pioneering work among unreached people.” (Or just leave the terms in place and learn to use them in place of missionary jargon.) You’ll find an enormous amount of helpful stuff in the secular world.
