via the Guardian: every decentralized swarmish “starfish” network that survives has some kind of at least minimal “spider” backbone. The “Anonymous” network was coordinated by a hidden cabal of around a dozen highly skilled hackers. What is amazing is that a team of 12 people could motivate and orchestrate “Operation Payback,” attacking Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal.
Well… 12 people? Perhaps its not so astounding.
