Rajiv Malhotra: A Hindu View of ‘Christian Yoga’

November 9, 2010

via the Huffington Post. This article is interesting because the author–who is unabashedly pro-yoga–is very informed on the doctrines of Christianity and very capably and civilly highlights the differences between yoga and Christianity. He tells us why one cannot really practice yoga and be a Christian (except perhaps the most shallow and surface version of yoga, as more of a physical exercise–and even then I’d be very nervous about it).

Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone–both Christian and non-Christian–could speak in such an informed and civil fashion about another religion, outlining the differences and exploring what it means to be a true practitioner of their faith?
