Surviving Mission Emergencies

Round Trip Missions has a good 5-page article on worst-case scenarios for short-term mission trips. Although I’d probably say these are the “most likely worst case scenarios”: my darker side could think up a lot “worse” scenarios than are presented here. (Not covered: public moral failure, blackmail, assassination, weapons of mass destruction against conferences, being framed, natural disasters… yes, my imagination is one reason I’ve been told more than once people are happy I’m on our side rather than the opposing side.) Anyway, this article would be a good one to print out and keep in your toolbox for training short-termers or people thinking about exploratory trips.
