But they do have other growing issues which concern the citizens of the nation. One is the fact that they are under the headship of a recently elected president who has a criminal record, and is friends with Russia (who is once again strategically stretching its borders). Since Yanukovich came to power with the financial backing of "key business figures," he has appointed close allies to key positions in the power structure and tilted foreign policy back toward Russia. Other concerning issues are alcoholism, drugs, AIDS and a rising porn industry.
