Shloky.com, in the midst of a small blog entry that is pro- the health care bill in America, has an interesting little note: “The global norm is 2-3 generations of a family living in the same home, splitting expenses and getting by, with several members of the family focusing 100% on internal tasks.” If that is true – and it probably is in Africa and Asia, if not elsewhere – what are the implications for cultural differences between West and East, and the implications for missions?
Aside: the global family norm
