Striking out blindly

On September 11th, America and the world was mesmerized as we watched the unfolding events on television. I personally was shocked, dismayed, fearful – alternating between fears for my mother-in-law, who is a flight attendant, to fears for my family, living in a metropolitan area that is home to one of the largest naval bases in the world and not far from Washington D.C.  Now I fear for our Muslim population.
