Statmarket.com, which “measures the pulse of the Internet” collects data gathered from more than 50 million Internet surfers a day who visit more than 150,000 sites worldwide. One page that purports to breakdown global Internet usage by language is GlobalReach, which suggests there are 230 million English-speakers and 560 million non-English speakers online.
